Volunteering to setup up the event space includes the following tasks: arranging tables (tablecloths, centerpieces, cutlery, napkins, etc), placing haggadahs, tagging seats so that each table is balanced between Cape Verdeans and Jews, setting up the check-in table, setting up the head table on the stage and helping with any other logistics. There will be somebody from the Planning Committee that will work with you to make sure everything is taken care of. If you volunteer for setup, we ask that you try to arrive by 4:00pm as the room needs to be ready for when the doors open at 6:00pm.
